One way to improve your hunting prowess in bowhunting is to have the right accessories. In this case we will discuss the use of quivers. Quivers hold arrows for quick access by the bowhunter during hunting. There is gaining popularity of the use of bow mounted quivers among hunters. There has been talk of this method affecting the performance of the hunter with regards to accuracy. But finding have shown that the effects of bow mounted quivers are inconsequential. They allow for easy access to arrows when hunting for game. All bow quivers have grippers that hold shafts securely into place, including the lower part of the arrow and the fletches.

There are the two piece or one piece quivers. One piece quiver attaches at one point in the bow that creates a sound not unlike that of a tuning fork. Two piece quivers are more popular that the former and have to points that attach to the bow so there are no vibrations. Hip quivers are still used by some bowhunters. These are attach to the hip of the hunter to hold arrows. A disadvantage with this quiver in pot and stalk hunting is that you will have difficulty crouching or sitting down during the hunt. Another type of quiver is the back quiver which is positioned at the back of the bowhunter, as the name suggests. Hunters who use non bow mounted quivers are more comfortable hunting with these equipment. Accuracy and performance are only slighty affected.
